PRIVACY POLICY
Halves is a game published by Kalind Pty Ltd, an Australian company ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the Halves app and this website handle, and why. If you have a question, email support@halvesgame.com.
The short version
- There are no accounts. We don't ask for your name, email or anything else about you.
- Your scores and settings stay on your phone.
- Halves is free because of ads. The ads come from Google AdMob, which collects some device information to show and measure ads.
- If you buy Remove ads, Apple or Google handles the payment. We never see your payment details.
Stored on your phone
Halves saves your best scores, settings (theme, sound, music), achievement progress and whether you've bought Remove ads. This stays on your device and isn't sent to us. Deleting the app deletes it.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
Unless you've bought Remove ads, Halves shows ads from Google AdMob. To deliver, measure and limit ads, and to prevent fraud, AdMob may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (the IDFA on iPhone, only if you allow tracking; the advertising ID on Android)
- your IP address, which gives an approximate location
- device and app information, such as model, operating system and language
- how you interact with ads, plus crash and performance data
Where the law requires it, for example in the EU and UK, Halves asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under How to play → Privacy choices. On iPhone, Halves asks whether it may track you; you can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. If you say no, you'll still see ads, but they'll be less relevant.
We ask AdMob for general-audience (G-rated) ads only. Google's use of this information is covered by its own policy: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Purchases (Apple, Google and RevenueCat)
The Remove ads purchase is processed by the App Store or Google Play. We use RevenueCat to confirm and restore purchases. RevenueCat receives the purchase receipt and a random identifier created for your copy of the app. It doesn't receive your name or payment details. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Game Center (iPhone)
If you're signed in to Game Center, Halves sends your scores and achievements to Apple so they can appear on leaderboards and in challenges with your friends. Apple's privacy policy covers Game Center.
Children
Halves is a general-audience game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
This website
This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or trackers. Our web host may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses, for security.
Your choices and rights
- Change your ad consent under How to play → Privacy choices, or reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.
- Buy Remove ads to stop ads, and with them AdMob's data collection, in Halves.
- Delete the app to remove everything Halves stored on your phone.
- To ask about, or request deletion of, information held by Google or RevenueCat, use their policies linked above. We're also happy to help: email us.
